Rezekne (250 km from Riga) is one of the
oldest cities in Latgale (ethnographical district of Latvia, the eastern
part of the land). Rezekne usually is called a heart of Latgale. It was
mentioned in the chronicles for the first time 1285, and 2005 Rezekne
celebrated the 720th anniversary.

Kolonna Hotel Rezekne is situated on the bank of Rezekne River. Built
1039, but since 1953 there was a hotel in this building, which was closed
1993. 2004 this building was purchased by Janis Lasmanis and holding
company Kolonna. 2005 the Hotel Rezekne was rebuilt and in November
reopened. According to the general plan of reconstructions the main facade
was renewed as at the early beginning, but inside of the building
significant modifications were made in case to the needs of the lodging
property.

Kolonna Hotel Rezekne is a 3*** hotel with 41 guest rooms (86 beds),
facilities for seminars, restaurant "Rozalija" with 2
seperate rooms, bar, sauna and Kolonna Beauty Parlour.
